Ikaria has a small domestic airport. There are daily flights from Athens (twice a day) and from Thessaloniki (once a day), operated by two airlines:
It is also possible to fly to the nearby islands of Samos or Mykonos and continue to Ikaria by ferry (approx. 1–2 hours).
During the summer season, Ikaria (Evdilos) is connected to Athens up to six times per week by the ferry Blue Star Mykonos, and once a week from Thessaloniki.
There is also a ferry port in Agios Kirykos on the southern side of the island.
The ferry port on “our” northern side is Evdilos. Our property is about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from there.

From the south (Dodecanese islands), for example from Kos, there are also ferry connections to Ikaria (Agios Kirykos).

We recommend booking directly with the airlines and ferry companies rather than through online platforms.
There are several local car rental companies on Ikaria. Many offer delivery to the airport or port. Most also rent scooters or mopeds.
We recommend booking in advance, especially during high season.

In July and August, there is sometimes a local bus service organised by private companies, operating once a day between the main locations on the island:
